About

Hey there. I'm Conor, and I'm a Senior Copywriter.

I'm also a sports junkie, Bruce Springsteen fanboy, and beach bum—even though my fair Irish skin may lead you to believe otherwise.

My journey to this point in my career isn't what most would call "traditional." I graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Sports Management and minor in Business Administration. After working in the athletics marketing department throughout my four years, I took a job with the New York Jets marketing team. Not the easiest thing for a Giants fan, but hey, gotta get your foot in the door, right? But as I moved on from that job after a season and had a stint at a small sports marketing firm in New Jersey, I found that the industry wasn't as fulfilling as I originally anticipated.

So I landed an interview with VaynerMedia and began as a Community Manager in November of 2012. Over the next five years, I grew within the agency and discovered my passion for storytelling by working on a variety of brands including Hasbro, Spotify, GE, MasterCard, and Diageo. From monthly content calendars to incremental campaigns and video scripts, I worked diligently to develop my craft while always looking for opportunities to improve.

That same desire to push myself creatively fueled my work at Troika Mission Group, which I joined in January 2018. As the lead copywriter at the agency, I spearheaded all writing efforts across social, digital, website, product, and events for brands such as Weight Watchers, Tiffany & Co., Pandora, Peroni, Black Forest, and Bira 91, among others. I also developed brand guidelines and social media strategies for a variety of brands, taking what I had learned at VaynerMedia and using it to establish a more broad creative foundation for TMG - a traditionally communications and events agency.
